It looks early to mid 50's Swing coat or Swagger But is it a coat or part of a suit? Could it be late 40's It does have shoulder pads. Faille trim large full sleeves. Flatter in the front but fans out more in the back. ( I am planning a trip for my 50th birthday so I am selling otherwise I would be keeping this baby!) Oh does the hat look dumb Its actually a kangol cap on backwards. I think the hat looks cute! It is very possible that this was the topper to an ensemble, and had a matching skirt. Today, most people would think that was too much plaid anyway! Label does look 50s, but it could be late 40s as well. Very nice, and that houndstooth is so current looking. Lizzie
