Hi guys, I have this pair of Levi's shoes that I picked up at a garage sale and need some help dating them. They appear to be older, they have the orange tab and a capital letter "E" on the tab as pictured. The inside tongue tag says made in Taiwan. Not sure if there are any other ways to tell if these are true vintage or a newer reproduction by Levis?

    Thanks for any help!!

Look 70s to me. early to mid.

  3. Another vote for '70s, although I know little to nothing about Levis as a brand.

They have a big E on the Levis' tag. Most guides for Levi's seem to give 1971 as the cut off date for the big E tag. Perhaps it's different for shoes though?

I was thinking the same thing... 1971 was the cut off 'rule' for Big E but... these most definitely look a little later than that.
