need help dating this striped dress with adjustable bow

    Hi,

    I've bought this dress and I would like to now when it's made. And where the adjustable bow can be attached.
    It's a cotton dress with a metal zipper at the side from Opti. I've attached some photos. The dress is too small for me unfortunately :( so It's a little tight as you can see as you look at the photos.

    1950's to early 60's. I would hedge on 60's because it is actually a nylon zipper with a metal tag, and the label style looks a little later.
    I was going to say the bow could have been attached at the waistline in the front, or at the back over the zip with poppers, but if that's a matching belt in your hand it might be to clip into the hair as a matching accessory.

  4. I'll go with '50s - it looks like the zipper is a replacement for the original, as you can see marks from the previous stitching. I'd like to see the bow on the belt, at the centre front.
