Need help identifying and dating an Evans Fur Stole

    Hi,

    I just joined VFG! I have purchased this amazing Evans Fur Stole and need assistance with the type of fur and dating of the fur. Thanks for your help!

    From what I’ve been able to research, I believe this is a blonde mink from the 1950s. Would that be correct?

    Hello,

    Sorry for my delay. Your stole is mink and does date to the 50s.
    The color is actually white which is never really white unless it’s from baby mink but it’s oxidized a bit over time.
