    Hello everyone.

I recently bought this vintage Harrods swing coat in a charity shop, but can't find any vintage Harrods garment that has the same label, and this logo isn't listed in the label resource either. The only place where i have found a similar logo was on 1940s adverts and a vintage box identified as from the 50s/60s (As you can see in the pictures).

This garment also has a "this garment guaranteed 100% wool" label but without a wool mark.

There is no other label stating the size, care instruction or the rest of the fabrics composition. The other contrasting fabric seem to be silk faille according to my research but I'm really, really not sure. The hem is handstitched, the shoulder pads seem to be some sort of crumbling foam/padding by touch but i can't really see them. The coat has raglan sleeves with a detailled cuff, and a big collar and lapel, held in place by two buttons. The fabric used to interface the labels is unknown to me but shown in the pictures.
I'm sorry this is really long, thank you if you are still reading and sorry for my english as it is not my primary language. :)

Thanks a lot for your response :) I also emailed Harrods and they kindly answered with some additional information. She said that the capitalised handwritten "Harrods" was a new logo used during the 1940s that came in different forms, but that she didn't find a similar coat in the catalogues of that time.
I will gladly add the label,
    Thank you again.
