Didnt see this Biba label on the resource. I am assuming this is early 1970s..
Do you all need this label for the resource? Is this not a "typical" Biba?
Does this dress/label have a market?

I don't know much about Biba as far as the collectors market, but i like the melony orange leaning color of it.

Hi there Michelle! It's a gorgeous dress, and very Biba-esque but I'm positive that label isn't a genuine Biba. They were always like the ones on the label resource (either woven gold on black with very rounded font, or the printed one were either black on gold or gold on black). I don't know what the pre-shop mail order labels were like, but that dress doesn't look contemporary to that period.

Sorry about that, it's an adorable dress and would definitely sell on its own merits!

That label does remind me of ones I have on early 70s print-poly things (cool ones!).

I wonder if this could be a rather unofficial Stateside use of the name??

It's a new one on me too, I'm afraid - I've only ever seen Biba labels with the celtic knotwork design.
