This shawl is so light and delicate...would this be crochet??? Also, I know these things are kind of timeless, but is this needlework indicative of any one era??

    Thanks for any help!

Bonnie, that is gossamer light, cobwebby, hairpin lace. It is done on a pronged frame with yarn and a crochet hook.

    There is info on google.

    Nice!
