New to this, help identify some tags and time periods?

I am new to vintage clothing, but I have been obsessed with scouring thrift stores for vintage tags. From what I have researched, if it doesn't have care instructions anywhere, it's 1970 or earlier, so I try to stick with that knowledge and buy accordingly. Everything here was purchased for $1 to $4.

Most of this is mine, but two are my wife's. The Zephyr Maid and Anne Rubin.

Anne Rubin - I am not sure if this is the somewhat well known Anne Rubin that did knits in the 60s and 70s, or a home made sweater from someone with the same name. Could anyone confirm?

Designer Knits - I believe this is a 1960s. It's got a really cool eagle embroidered on the left chest. I can't find any information on them.

-Escort, Binghamton Knitting Company - My favorite find, a really heavy wool cardigan. I also believe this is 60s, as there is the same one currently on Ebay claiming so. Binghamton is about an hour away from where I live, so this is a cool local piece.

-Jack Nicklaus by Revere - I also think this is 60s. When did Jack Nicklaus clothing come about?

-John Henry - this one has care instructions, so I am assuming it's early to mid 70s??

-Puritan Jay Berma - I feel like this is 50s to 60s, not sure when Jay Berma came about, can anyone confirm?

-Rugby Knitting Mills, Buffalo - I have seen this tag on a 50s, piece, so I am assuming this one is 50s, maybe 60s. Buffalo is again near where I live so this is local.

-Wash Without Worry - I am guessing this one is 50s. I cannot find any info on the company, assuming that is their name.

-Zephyr Maid - Also cannot find any information, my guess is 50s??

    I appreciate any help!!

Here is a little information about your Wash Without Worry label, from looking up the WPL number HERE...and I found ads for Kandahar's Wash Without Worry sweaters in 1961 and 1962 newspapers.

Sargon Knitwear seems to be the company behind Designer knits and first filed with the patent office in 1958.

Awesome, thank you so much! Definitely good news that they are turning out to be about what I thought. I will keep honing my eye and picking up vintage stuff when I see it! Where do you find the ads for these things?
