Now an Asian top

    I am getting a late 40's early 50's feel for this fabric. Crepe ( can't tell if its silk crepe ) Its all lined ( actually reversible ) in orange damask. There is a small tab on the collar with the size M on it.

    My first thought is that sizing/labeling garments S-M-L is a comparatively recent development (if you could call it that) - post-50's, anyway - but I could defitely be wrong.

    It's lovely - hopefully someone will weigh in on the date.
