Overalls Engineer Railroad ???? what??

    What would you call these Railroad? Engineer? Stripped Bib Overalls. Or Chore? Workman ? What ? Also what would do you call that stripe? And also what are sanforized ? is that the name brand or what? And finally would they be vintage or do they still make sanforized what ever it is???
    They have metal button fly

    Hi Pauline! They are generally called railroad stripe bib overalls and they do still make them. Sanforized is a fabric treatment - I can't remember what exactly, but it's a treatment , not a fiber.

    You could use 'ticking' to describe the stripe
