Pierre Cardin "Fashionable Ladies" Tie

    I would appreciate any help with this tie. The keeper label is very faded, but I can make out polyester. Can't tell if it says 100% or not. The store label is from Henry B Klein Clothiers & Haberdashers. It is 4ΒΌ" (11cm) and 55" (140cm) long.

  2. With that graphic, the wide width and being poly = 70s.

    I agree, the width, novelty design and material all suggest 1970s. In the UK a wide tie from this period is known as a Kipper tie.
    The fashions depicted seem to be 1970s as well with the flares and Heidi hairstyles. (unusually, typically they are a retro art deco style such as this one)
