Wow! Surprisingly, my DDs, who think Elle, Vogue, and In Style are printed only for them, have no animosity toward poly. If it has "the look," they'll buy & wear it. Gosh, when my MIL died, they were thrilled to get even the old woman 60's and 70's clothes because they had a hint of the look. I suppose vintage poly, even double knit, is their cross to bear as girdles and bullet bras were in the 50's & 60's. Brenda Oh....that trench should bring hunka-bunka money!
GOOD ploy/doubleknit is great - it holds its color til the day after forever. Bad poly/doubleknit = horror!
