Pretty Easter Sunday Dress

    Isn't this cute? But I need a date. mid 60's? Metal zip up the back, Embroidered appliqued roses with Handpainted ?? stems and something else ( flower ID) Very well constructed but no label. And help with a title

    I would say mid 60s Pauline (hey, I'll pull a Jonathan and Hollis....1964 :)

    Is this linen? Very pretty colours. As for the flower
    id - the closeup looks like a rosebud?

    those are rosebuds but whats the painted flowers. All I can think of is asters.

    I can take 64 as a date your good girl!

    I'm not great with flower id (roses, I do know Hee!).

    And, 64 is only good until J or H come along and probably say different! I do think this is at the first half of the 60s though.

    The little green flowers? They look a bit like dandelions after they turn white and are ready to blow away. Or milk thistle.

    Oh wow!!! I've just seen this dress recently! I think the only major difference was the one I saw had pink flowers instead of yellow.

    Oh rats.. I've been looking through completed auctions to show you.. but I'd had it on my watch list and I think it ended around $88, if I recall.
