The Paris Box Label

    Is anyone familiar with this label? It reads The Paris Box Carmel by the Sea. I researched and came up empty handed. Thank you!

    I am stuck too but I know there were lots of great stores in downtown Carmel in the 50s and 60s... I'm guessing this one was near I Magnin's, in that vicinity?

    Thanks everyone! I think it is more of a circa 1920's or 1930's with the fabric, construction and sleeves. I will keep googling!

    I also saw 1930s in this velvet jacket. No clue on the shop, but was just driving through Carmel last month and it is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

    I didn’t find anything about The Paris Box in Carmel, but I found these 1926 and 1927 ads from The Paris Box in Oakland...

    In Oakland!!?? I wonder if my grandmother and auntie window-shopped there?
