Thoughts on the Shoe Industry, 1950-1985 (Norvic/Bally Director\'s account)

In researching The Dolcis by Bally shoes I came across quite a nice Archive piece from a project that seems to be recording older people's lives and memories; this gentleman was Director of Norvic and Bally and began working for Norvic on their first appreticeship scheme, doing some work in all areas of the shoe industry. It's called Thoughts on the Shoe Industry, 1950-1985 and has alot of useful tidbits as well as giving an overview of how the shoe industry worked in this time and changed over the years.

Thought it might provide interesting reading; it also has a styles over the years type advert at the bottom:

Thanks for sharing. I know I'm just a tad late to the party on this one! I've been researching shoes all day and stumbled across this old thread... I tried the link, thought I'd have listen, but it no longer works (not surprising as its over 12 years old!). So I googled the title, and found this new link... thought I'd share it. I'll have a listen tomorrow.
