Found a Harley t while thrifting today.
It’s clearly an older shirt based on the tag but it being an unbranded tag naturally is pretty big red flag in regards to authenticity.
Just trying to get an idea of age. It is double stitched but it’s the tag that makes me wonder if it may predate the 2000s.
    Cheers

I think this was a tourist item - Punta Cana is a popular beach holiday resort area in the Dominican Republic. If not for tourism, this town would not be there. From what I could find, it really only started in the 70s and the airport was built in the 80s, and it only got really big in the 90s. I started working in the tourism industry in the late 90s and it was one of the places to go for a beach holiday, but there was nothing much there beyond the hotel resorts. Tie-dye was very popular (again) in the mid-late 90s with with the revival of hippie-inspired style, bellbottom pants and all that.
A search for Corpotex turns up a German company that specialises in workwear, merchandising wear etc. that was only founded in 2011. That would fit with the type of t-shirt you have here I guess, but I wonder if that's the right company and if maybe not another one of the same name existed, possibly in the US? I agree the label looks a little older and looks more American to me, so going just by that and the style, I'd have thought mid- to late 90s a good dating possibility.
