Trying to date a VS nightgown with union tag

    I am trying to date this victoria's secret nightgown. It has union tags, which I have heard means it is older? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you

    I do not recall VS doing that sort of thing until the 80s.

  5. Ilaub, you can look up union labels at the VFG label resource here.

    I see '80s too, although these simple styles were also made in the early '90s.
     
  6. I recall reading that the use of the two-color ILGWU label persisted in lingerie well past the 1974 date when, for other clothing, the color red was added to the label design.
