Trying to identify vintage purse with logo 'n/b'.
    Anyone?
Uploaded picture for reference... I have white leather women' purse with steel opening 'jaw' that has logo embossed on its bolts - it is looking exactly as:

    n/b

Please help me to find purse origins!

    Sincerely,

    Val

    Hello Val,

Perhaps I can help. I have been collecting and dealing in vintage handbags for 36 years. The n/b on the frame is likely the handbag frame manufacturer's logo and not the purse designer logo. Do you have other photos of the interior and exterior of the bag?

    Any Oakley

The vintage black handbag is made by After Five, though the original label has worn off significantly. Note that the frame is by IDEAL. The vintage cream lizard bag is by Koret, note the frame makers symbol on the hinge.
