  1. All you jewelry experts out there...can you help me with these two bracelets!! They both are sort of oriental looking to me.

I don't have a clue on the dates Linda however I see more of a 'gypsy' influence in the first one. Indonesian on the second?

(how about "the many faces of Eve" for the second? LOL)

I really like the first one! :)

  3. Thanks, Sue. I think the second one may have a mark. It could just be a scratch, though. LOL. Am going to try to get a pic of it to post.

Here it is. What do you think?

  4. Well, both bracelets will be on auction tonight. I think I have found out that the second bracelet is a Chinese Kwan Yin Buddha. Here is some info about her.

It is said that Quan Yin is one of the most beloved of deities in the Buddhist tradition. She is the embodiment of mercy and compassionate loving kindness. She hears the cries of all beings. Quan Yin is often depicted carrying the pearls of illumination. It is said that anyone who calls on her will be rescued from harm and bad health. When placed in a room she cleanses the home of negative influences, including arguments, marital problems and illness. Kwan Yin is also the protector of all children and women. She brings compassion and love into your home. A must for anyone looking to strengthen or enhance a relationship with their partner or children, she is also said to enhance fertility.

And here is a picture of a statue.
