Hello All, I have found a label that I remember from my younger days but know little about on this A line denim skirt from the 1970's (I think) The little patch feature on one of the pockets looks a bit "Holly Hobbie" inspired.
IMG_1814.JPG IMG_1815.JPG IMG_1816.JPG I suspect that this is a query that can only be answered by UK contributors as it refers to the UK Coop (Cooperative) brand. Any info much appreciated!

I've never seen a Co-op clothing label before! Their logo has hardly changed, but they don't do clothing anymore. https://www.coop.co.uk/

    Totally adorable skirt.

    I agree with 70s.

I'm not sure what other information you were after?

I just wondered when they started making their own brand clothing (and when they stopped) as, like you I was not aware that they had tried an own brand clothing range.

You could always try writing to them and asking.

There's also a National Co-operative Archive - though this is for all and various co-operatives, and the co-operative movement in general, not just an archive for 'the Co-op' https://www.archive.coop/#

Thanks, I have already done that but they have not responded yet - I will let you know when they do!
