Vanity Fair Nylon Gown..Vintage?

Discussion in 'PUBLIC Vintage Fashion - Ask Questions Get Answers' started by vintageclothes-line, May 26, 2004.

  1. Surely I could say 80s but it could be older. It is 100% Nylon Tricot. Sort of has a handkerchief Hem and it is in rainbow colors. Anybody guess a date?

I sold one very much like this last fall. I described it as most likely 60s. If I recall correctly, it went to Japan and sold in the $30 range.

  3. I'd say 60's also because of the cut and colors. That is so pretty!!!!

I agree with a 60's date. The colors and trapeze cut seal the deal for me as well.

I would say 60s also, and to me the label looks more
60s than 80s. Would that be a 'tulip' hem?

    Sue:)
