Victorian Clothing on C&C

    Hi all!

    My third restock for April, this time it's for some Victorian goodies...

    A c. 1848 silk gown (in need of some TLC) which also comes with silk slippers and engageants..

    A c. 1877 plum taffeta Princess gown..

    A c. 1887- 1889 brown velveteen Dolman jacket for a bustle gown:

    ITs amazing to me how the first one survived with its accessories in tact. someone must have been the "saver" in that family.

    I love the 1848 dress too but unfortunately it seems that it has been used as a "dress up costume" over the years so it needs some loving! :)

    Actually, the engageants aren't from the same estate! The shoes are came from the same estate as the dress but I don't know if the original owner of the dress wore these shoes or not but since they came from the same place, I thought I'd keep them together.
    I decided to add the engageants with the dress as they just seemed to "go" with the dress and are from the same period anyways.
