Vintage Aloha Shirt?

    Hi all!

I came across this shirt and at first thought, could it be a real Palaka? Or perhaps an early Aloha Shirt? It is in such great condition, but without a label, had me guessing. Could it be a home sewing project? It is a good cotton feel and the back actually comes to a point at the hem. The button is interesting, but there isn't a button hole. Any ideas? Dates?

    Thanks so much!

The side vent detailing and point in back give me the feel of a women’s shirt rather than men’s. The button might have had a thread loop to close it on the other side.

I agree it's a woman's blouse/shirt. The fabric could be from Hawaii but it is not Palaka which is a plaid and looks like this:

Thank you all for your responses! Very informative. Could you guess the era? Based on the sewing perhaps? Thanks!
