Good day, I recently did an estate purchase and one of the pieces that I picked up was this purse. I thought there was something special about it but really am unsure of the era. Label reads "Birks Made in Paris" and it's in impeccable shape. Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated, thank you!
LOVE the Asian inspired fabric and celluloid frame. The flowers remind me of chrysanthemums or maybe they are peonies. Bumping this for the purse experts to have a look.
I am not a purse expert, either but I think the purse looks older than 1920's perhaps - perhaps Art Nouveau or Arts and Crafts era.
