Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I picked up a Chanel scarf from an Oxfam Vintage store this week.
When purchasing it I commented that I wasn't sure if it was authentic, the assistant responded that they didn't either hence why it was just on the normal scarf rail.

I liked it so bought it anyway. When I got it home and inspected it closer at leisure Im still unsure.

The scarf is 100% silk on the label. It has hand rolled edges. However the label does not have the Chanel logo printed on it.

Can anyone assist p IMG_20170728_093618.jpg lease

Don't worry! A common first mistake. No-one will hold it against you.
