Vintage fashion on stage

This is one of the ways I incorporate more vintage fashion into my life, for our April production of Verdi's La Traviata I wore a backless 1960's Jean Allen tiered lace cocktail dress with, appropriately, mid century opera length white satin gloves and the 1920's silver and guilloche enamel watch I posted about some time ago on here (which I only discovered had a gold press clasp at the dress rehearsal!). The dress was not actually my first choice (I had found previously a longer 80's does 20's Tokito black lace overlay sleeveless tunic dress with handkerchief hem) but decided I should go for an age appropriate length in the end, and this dress was a hit, so I'll definetly be wearing it again.
