Hi I got this out of an attic yesterday - It was full of mainly 1950-1960s clothes and some earlier .. Its a long nylon waffle weave Lacoste jacket and I am trying to date it - My very limited understanding is that Lacoste was only imported into the US in the late 1950's and all the labels had Izod- Lacoste on them, so I am assuming that this may be a direct import from Europe and possibly before the 1955 or so date Izod starting bringing them into the USA , but the style of this says to me 1970's? Any help would be gratefully received !
