    <h3><center> Here they are... the 2005-2006 VTA Themes!

    April 2005 - <font color=blue>Where the Boys Are</font color> - submitted by <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/KitschNSink" target="_blank">patentleathershoes</a> - This month we salute the men of vintage and the menswear inspiration that makes us swoon. From suave suits that Carey Grant would have chosen to wing tip details on ladies pumps, smoking jackets to funky ties, overalls to cuffllinks and top hats to Marlene Dietrich in a tux. This one's for the boys! So search VTA this month for the finest vintage menswear and the ladieswear it inspired!

    May 2005 - <font color=hotpink>Everything's Coming Up Roses</font color> - submitted by <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/20th-Century-Vintage-Ventures" target="_blank">threewings</a> - Roses, violets, irises or entire gardens printed, painted, appliquéd or embroidered on fabric and leather and what have you. Flower shapes brooches and purses and pillows, too!

    June 2005 - <font color=mediumaquamarine>Patio Life</font color> - submitted by <a href="http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsofocusZbsQQsbrftogZ1QQcatrefZC6QQfromZR10QQsorecordsperpageZ50QQsacategoryZ-1Q26catrefQ3DC6QQsotrtypeZ1QQsotrvalueZ1QQsellerZ1QQsassZwigshopQQsosortpropertyZ1Q26sosortorderQ3D1" target="_blank">wigshop</a> - Ah...weekends in suburbia...Mai Tais and vodka tonics, Tom Collinses and Manhattans, the fellas gathered around the grill in their Sansabelt Sta-Press slax and Caribbean print sportcoats to debate steak methodology - gracious hostesses in bright cotton gowns passing trays of canapes on toothpicks - a bridge game rages under the awning, turning into poker as the night wears on. Some couples have his-n-hers Hawaiian ensembles, trophies from the first or second honeymoon. Don't forget the pool of course – swim trunks with matching cabana jackets, showoff swimsuits, etc.

    July 2005 - <font color=orange>Tropical Teasers</font color> - submitted by <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/Perennial-Vintage-Fashion" target="_blank">vintagedaisydeb</a> - Anything suitable for warm weather vacation wear. *Sexy swimsuits *Sensuous strapless dresses *Head Turning *Hawaiian anything!

Whether you enjoy delicate lace camisoles or black vinyl bustiers, silk thigh-highs or vampy fishnet stockings, flowery princess gowns or sheer chiffon peignoirs, ruffled tap panties or fringe go-go bottoms, girly white petticoats or nylon wiggle slips, they are still the first to be put on and the last to be removed. For good reason! Wink-Wink! So, let's bring these unmentionables out of the wardrobe and into the limelight!

    September 2005 - <font color=brown>To the Manor Born</font color> - submitted by <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/Sparkys-Spot" target="_blank">sparky*jean</a> - Would include tweedy suits meant to be worn for a tromp through the countryside, elegant smoking jackets for after-dinner cognac and cigars, floaty, gauzy dresses for an afternoon game of lawn tennis or croquet, dressing gowns for pre-gala primping, cigarette cases, compacts, jodphur boots, breeches, pearl chokers, rhinestone necklaces--basically anything and everything you need to live the bespoke life!

    October 2005 - <font color=slateblue>Plush Life</font color> - submitted by <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/Couture-Allure-Vintage-Fashion" target="_blank">coutureallure</a> - What could be better than something soft and fuzzy, furry and cuddly? This month's theme offers everything plush - fur, velvet, velour, angora, mohair, maribou, etc. How luxurious!

Wraps and furs, to accessories that adorn! (And yes, guys: there will be tuxs 'n' tails for you as well!) Find the glam vintage everyone wants at our VTA Black Tie Affair!

    December 2005 - <font color=firebrick>It's All in the Details</font color> - submitted by <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/Perennial-Vintage-Fashion" target="_blank">vintagedaisydeb</a> - No plain Janes here! Each item must exhibit some type of fabulous accent. Sparkling Sequins, beaded trims, delicious drapings, bombshell bodice treatments, nifty novelty prints, and more!

    January 2006 - VTA Anniversary Theme - <font color=goldenrod>Peek-a-Boo & Lacy, Too!</font color> - submitted by <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/The-Vintage-Peddler" target="_blank">thevintagepeddler</a> - "VTA Turns 4! You don’t have to be a Rita Hayworth redhead to wear it, there’s shade for everyone in this month’s VTA!

    Oh...

    For those of you not familiar with "VTA: Vintage Themed Auctions;" it is a group marketing effort first begun on ebay, and now extended to the vc-mall /babylon mall. All participating sellers present items for sale that fit the particular month's "theme" and people can browse very easily by searching for "VTA" in titles or clicking the "VTA" button in the mall.

    So if auctions are more your style, check ebay, and if if buying right away is your style, check the mall. :)

    If you are a seller that would like to participate, email Gayle and Justine and they will put you in the know with the specific requirements.
