Was The Concealed Back Zip In Any 70s Dresses?

    Hi,
    I just joined today.
I have a psychodelic print mini dress that looks like 60s/70s. I bought it as part of a job lot of vintage clothes. The fabric is a lightweight crepe and the lining is acetate. There is no makers label and wash code label has been removed.
However it has a perfect concealed back zip and this doesn't seem to fit with the era. Zip pull is metal, teeth are plastic, it does look old! Letters XH on zip tab.

Can you please show us some photos of the dress and the zipper.

The Unique (invisible) zippers were available to home-sewers in the 60s, but manufacturers were slow to use them probably because they were much more expensive.
