Was this man born in 1904 or 1869 from his age and attire?

    This man is either my grand uncle born in 1904 or his father born in 1869. Is it possible to determine from his apparent age, clothing and hairstyle which one is depicted in these photographs?

    Thank you, Maggie. I suspected as much, and your response gives me confidence that it is indeed my grand uncle. Even his children weren't sure, not having known him at that young age.
