I don't usually buy wedding dresses but I bought this at a thrift store for $1.50 (because it was so cheap). I'm not even sure if it's vintage as I know nothing about wedding dresses. No labels, appears to be handmade. Can anyone tell me if it is vintage and if so, when does it date to? Sorry for the really bad photos!

    Thanks!

Is that a rip or cut at the bottom of the skirt? Based on the invisible zipper I'm going to (totally) guess 1970's. Many other members have far more expertise than I.

Thanks :) No, it's not a rip, the back of the dress is longer and so it was swept around the front, if that makes sense?

It looks 1960s to me, you can't go wrong with paying $1.50!

Agreed -- looks 1960s-70s to me, as well. Lace tells me it's 60s, 'back swept around the front' tells me it's 70s.

That is a lovely find for $1.50! That column shape, end even the Empire waistline, was popular in the mid to late 1960s, although I feel that the Edwardian high lace collar puts this dress slightly later. I see early 1970s, very early part of the decade.
