What can you tell me about Malia?

This Malia dress was made in British Crown Colony Hong Kong and is a higher quality than most Malia dresses I've come across. It is 100% silk dupioni and has a metal zipper. I'm dating this to the 60's, but does anyone have any info on Malia? They're not on the label resource.

And check out the store label in this dress for The Traveling Kitty!

Malia sounds familiar to me. But sorry, i don't have any info. Did you search "malia company history" on the web? Sometimes that takes out all the listings for clothes.

I find that a lot of garments made in Hong Kong have not disappointed me as far as construction, even though there are a lot of little labels and no names.

The Malia dresses I have come across.....and skirts, too....have been with Hawaii or Honolulu on the label. I just sold a dress last week:

Your dress and label are one's I have not seen. Hope someone else comes along with more info...

  4. I don't know much about Malia...except every piece I have found, I have loved!! They have superb prints and great colors and styles that are a little bit different. Mine have been Hawaiian also, I don't think I've ever seen a HK before.

Sorry I don't have any info for you. Your dress is super cute!!
