What fabric?

Hi, so thought someone on this site might know the answer. What fabric is this cape made out of? I'd love to know. Thank you for any responses.

 

Not sure but first thing that came to mind was parachute silk.

 

thank you for such a quick reply. That was a thought I had, after hours of searching. Although the pictures I saw of that, looked more like parachute pants. It was for hammocks.

 

I don't remember parachute silk with that much shine. I would have guessed a lightweight satin, perhaps rayon.
