What type of satin is this?

    Hi!

    I have a gorgeous 1930s gown that I'm having trouble describing the fabric. It is a rayon crepe back satin of some sort with a woven texture that looks a bit like tight tiger stripes and changes to silver when moved in the right light.

    It looks like a crinkly texture from the photos above.
