Who and when

    I bought this coat and skirt at auction recently. Do you want to guess who designed it and about when? If you saw it advertised in the auction catalog, please don't tell. Mondrian.jpg

    HMMMM, it has an almost Japanese quality to the design. So maybe Rei Kawakubo?

    Interesting. I can't guess, but it looks like it was influenced by a Frank Lloyd Wright design (who was influenced by the Japanese so I agree with Jonathan there). Mid 1980's?

    If it's not typical, Catherine Walker? They are normally prettier designs, but the jacket shape is very similar to some she designed for Diana in the 80's.
