Witch Craft ~ VFG Fashion Parade for the week of October 1st

    Are you a good witch or a bad witch? Glenda or Elphaba? The classic film Wizard of Oz typically is what we think of when we hear witch, but witches can be glamorous, elegant or wart-covered.

    Maybe a Pucci caftan-wearing cranky mother-in-law, Endora, from the 1960s television show Bewtiched is more your style? Alluring beatnik beauty, Kim Novak, with her beloved, familiar kitty, Pyewacket, clad in black turtlenecks and slim slacks in the film, Bell Book and Candle? Plaid-garbed Gothic teenage bad-girl witches from the film The Craft? The benevolent and wise Professor McGonagall (Dame Maggie Smith), draped in luxurious velvets all spark our fascination with magic and challenges our traditional ideas of what a witch can look like!

    This week we celebrate the classic good and evil witches and warlocks inspired by some of our favorite Halloween films and television. Use your imagination and show us your iconic "witchy" items: velvet, cloaks, capes, pointy hats and shoes, spider and bug jewelry, black anything, and of course, any Halloween-themed items will be welcomed!
