Would these epaulettes be trapunto?

    And would you refer to them as epaulettes? The belt and the sleeve ends are done with the same treatment. Thanks

  2. I would not call this trapunto. Perhaps quilted. Trapunto is quited and then stuffed from behind to give a three dimensional look. If there is a top and bottom layer with batting or other fabric layer sandwiched in between then it is quilted.

    There is a top and bottom layer with filling in the middle - so quilted epaulettes. Thanks..
