I think you'd be safe with 40s on the first one - maybe late 30s. The second one looks more early 50s to me, but I could be wrong on that.That wing effect is great. I usually call the first type a percher hat since they aere meant to perch on the head, tilting over the forehead rather than fitting the crown. Hollis
'Percher' sounds so much better than 'pancake'! That is how I always think of that shape! I love the one with the wings! I was going to say late 40s on that one. Sue
