Are these pretty shoes 40's?

    Those are really adorable. I would think late 30s could also be possible...let's see what others have to say.

    They are prewar, but as they are American, they could be as late as 1941 but as early as 1937.

    I found an I.Miller ad showing the same style in plain fabric in 1949 but I agree with that print they are more likely late 1930's.
    The print appears to be native indian headdresses - any significance at this time?

    They are wonderful.. Look like late 30's to me but Jonathon is the expert. He wrote the book LOL!!
