Father\'s Day is around the corner!!

I always list a bunch of ties in time for Father's Day giving. I love unique ties and always buy them when I see them. They are an expensive item to buy for resale and quick to write up and shoot.

I haven't started the vintage batch yet, but thought I would share a few of my favorites so far.

Possibly the coolest contemporary tie I have ever bought. Jean Paul Gaultier...superb satin fabric...the greatest circus strong man images!!

This one is Moschino. A variety of typefaces spell out Moschino randomly.

What a good idea! I love ties too, but they don't sell well most times of the year. Father's day is a great time to post them.

The strong man tie is awesome! I've also been drawn to ties lately and have picked up quite a few. I have a couple Liberty of London springy florals and I just recently sold a Nicole Miller one for $20 a couple of months ago - it was a Wine Labels print. I also had a Beer Labels print but that one didn't sell - I bet it will for Father's Day though - what a great time to start selling 'em, thanks for the reminder!

Not only is Fathers Day coming up but here in New Hampshire, Motorcycle Week starts the Sunday before Fathers Day and runs all the way thru to Fathers Day.
If you have any thing black, leather and/or studded, spiked, or just insanely sexy now would be a good time to list it and gear it towards the biker crowd. They shop on line to :cool::):cool:

Ooo - is there anything online about that Motorcycle Week in New Hampshire Kat? My BF is a Harley man and New Hampshire isn't too far away for a long road trip. :)

Laconia Bike week is absolutely crazy. You might want to list early as some folks leave really early so they can ride their bike the whole way. there's a whole little industry around it - not jsut bike contests but afterwards the tame highlights video with the bikes and then the "bike week gone wild" sort of videos.

Non OT - father's day - do many people buy vintage for their dads? most of my dad's friends wear vintage because they are the original owners and it just so happens that now they had it long enough to be vintage LOL
