Goth as a style is now vintage, and it was certainly vintage-inspired from its start in the early 80s.

This week the VFG takes a walk on the dark side with Victorian clothing, black leather, mourning jewelry, fishnets, corsets, lace, black, black and more black (tinged with the occasional purple and scarlet).

This novelty weave long black skirt is available at The Vintage Merchant...(most photos are click-able links)

here's a close up of that fabulous fabric...

This is kind of steam-punk-ish rather than Goth-ish...and can also be found at The Vintage Merchant...

These will be added to Less Than Perfect this week...

which is where this Victorian-inspired 1940s top can be found...

and although these aren't vintage, they sure are Goth, at our Modern Living shop on Ruby Plaza...
we call them our Abby boots, as they remind us of the delightful lab tech, Abby, on NCIS (Tuesday's CBS)

This 50s necktie has a goth feel, a little brooding and a little chaotic.

A 30s kimono with woven metallic pekinese dogs, perfect for that visit to the opium den

This Edwardian navy blue chiffon bodice has wonderful detailing, and would look suitably dark with a black undergarment.

And on Artfire, a wonderfully over-the-top 80s jacket that has all the glam goth touches you could desire.

Amy - I just have to ask - is your model the actress Juliet Landau (she played the vampire Drusilla on the TV show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer")?? If not, she is a dead ringer for her! And you did a fantastic job on casting the model and the styling for that dress.

I'm a big fan of hers (and the entire cast and crew of "Buffy").
