Get the Look: Roy Rogers and Dale Evans
November 5 is the 101st anniversary of Roy Rogers’ birth, and this week we celebrate “The King of the Cowboys” and his wife Dale Evans, “The Queen of the West.”
Along with their wholesome images there were Roy’s and Dale’s covetable clothes, stylized and elaborate Western wear with fringe, embroidery, tooled leather…and of course cowboy boots and hats. Nudie Cohn designed many of the film costumes worn by Rogers and Evans.
