I have always been interested in Vintage Attire and Accessories and started collecting very early in my life. I have the first piece of jewelry that I purchased at a school fair when I was 6 years old.....a pearl choker made in Japan! Not only has it been fun collecting items, but I particularly like learning about the history behind them and preserving them for future generations. My collecting "habit" has taken me to many interesting places and I have met many wonderful people through this hobby and business. We always tend to think that we "find" things, when in reality, we don't.....they "find" us. It is my philosophy that we are keepers of the treasures and for that reason we are often at the exact right place at the exact right time to have certain items come our way.....for one reason or another! I am glad to be a part of VFG and look forward to always learning more through the exchange of information among my fellow members and to share what modest knowledge I may have with others to inspire the passion I have for vintage fashion.
