But to answer your question, I think it’s totally possible that they had some leftover labels that were used into the following year.
Also as far as I know, Orlon was invented in the 1940s and trademarked in 1948...
I am not certain of the age though it looks quite modern to me but I can tell you that the 1973 isn’t when it’s from. Many
Italian labels read "A NORMA LEGGE N. 883 26/11/1973" (or similar) which is Italy's care and fiber content labelling law. The date is its effective date in November 1973...
