Unsure of date for string fringe party dress - please help.

    This is a very cute black party dress, made of either rayon or silk and string fringe attached at both ends, so as to form a swingy band of drapey fringe. Side metal zip & hooks & eyes. Thank you for your expertise!

    I've seen so many of these dresses from this time and have had a few myself. I see early 60s. They were really twisting in these fringe dresses at that time for sure.
    You might not be able to tell from this ad but this dress looks pretty similar to yours. If you look at the top you can see there's fringe on the top also and it has a fitted waist.
