Hello! I bought this for my sister years ago. It was too tight in the bust.
Asian Image is the Tag
I don't see the brand but I see this jacket on Etsy. It's quite possible these were purchased in China and brought back.
Picture 1-3 are of the jacket. I love the detail.
Picture 4 is fabric I found of Rayon Silk on Etsy.
The seller does offer Vintage fabrics but doesn't state this is vintage.
In my design business, I loved designing draperies and had thousands of fabric swatches in my design studio. I don't recall seeing this fabric in the past 30 years.
My L-shaped bedroom is painted Chartreuse and has silver draperies. I actually think this jacket would make a couple of gorgeous pillows to place on top the silver bedspread. There's a tall Chinese scroll I purchased in China that would be stunning on the wall with this fabric, too.
Or, using the collar and front, also create binding, and having a lovely caftan would be wonderful. This is one of my favorite colors.
My favorite things are items I buy on my travels. I carry images and memories of places and people.
Will you forgive me if I use items in other ways?
Now, would I have a beautiful antique piece of furniture stripped? HORRORS! NO! I guess it depends on how rare or special the item? ;)
Do you think this rare?
Thoughts, my friends? Thank you!
