Hoping to get some info on this fur coat :)

Hi everyone, my mom asked me to sell this coat for her, I know nothing about fur, hoping some of you who are more knowledgeable about vintage furs could tell me the type of fur, and how much do these sell for, really appreciate all your help.

The tags say genuine fur but does not specify what kind of fur it is, the coat is in excellent condition

I'm definitely no fur expert but I'm going to make some guesses and we'll see how right (or wrong!) I am. Hopefully, some fur gurus will pop in to help you.
Looks like dyed rabbit to me and possibly 1970s...?
Please post clear photos of all tags/labels.

I agree it’s a 70s coat and looks like rabbit. IMO the value in that coat is that it’s a great color and a super-cool cut. It’s very nice, so if it were me I’d put it up for a high Buy It Now price with Best Offer enabled and see whether you get any early offers and watchers. It’s great!

The RN number is for "Mystique Apparel Group Inc".
The tags look contemporary, not vintage and certainly not 1970s. It is 70s-styling, hence the confusion.

Thank you for the additional photos. It is really difficult to determine fur type on this one without touching it. The fur is pieced so identifying by the size of the animal is not possible. The fur looks like it has more density than rabbit though.
Based on the information I found through a variety of online sources such zoom info, crunchbase info, and import info, it looks like Mystique apparel group Inc. first opened in New York in 1995. They had a store in New York that is closed now, however they are still in business today as I can see they still have goods being imported.
I do believe this is a modern coat, and I believe it was intentional for the fur type to not be mentioned.
