I think they're Romanian, maybe 1970s at a guess but obviously traditional in design. I think they're called 'ie' in Romania but don't quote me - I only know a little as I had some unusual early ones, and dealt with a lovely collector who told me an awful lot of fascinating stuff at the time...
I think we've covered both sides of the label!
Oh wonderful, I love it when things turn up where you least expect them. I wonder how it arrived and who with!
Hi, it does indeed look like the 60s label. They first used that particular wash symbol c. 1966 in the UK, and it changed later on. I think it's a mini dress rather than the gardeners smocks - those were loose fitting and long sleeved, and look similar to a traditional...
Hi - that’s interesting! I’m with you on the font and label type, it does look pre 84 rather than later?
Hopefully someone better versed in Kenzo will step in.
I notice this one isn’t in the VFG label resource so am sure they’d love to use it, once dated!
I agree with Donna, smaller couturier. I also read that post-war Vogue sold exclusive ‘couture’ kits in a collaborative endeavour with Bianchini.

Within the industry, Bianchini was known especially for silk velvets and silk and...
I’d agree on 1950s actually, or perhaps just a little earlier. I’d call it a corsolet rather than a corset - that might help your research. I think they reached peak popularity in the 40s from memory.. but could be wrong as not something I sell often these days.
Do you have a close up of that label? That may help as I can’t zoom in to see the phone number.
At a glance they look a bit more modern to me than 1950s, as from the photo it looks like synthetic lace, although I could be wrong. Do you think they are nylon? If they were 1950s I’d expect...
It looks more like a Moroccan djellaba - agree with Jonathan on the not-being Indian, and also hard to date as so traditional. Could be 1970s.. or later?
Isn’t that odd. It does look very much like a misers purse as you say.
Do you think someone has sewn it shut historically for some reason, or is that not a possibility?
Edited to add there’s a very similar purse listed on eBay US (search Double Victorian Misers Purse and that should find it)
I imagine it was painted somehow? This cnn article mentions how the ‘radium girls’ would go out dancing after work to the speakeasy, as the dust caused them to glitter..

You’re welcome! Hope it’s of help. I agree with Maggie that the fabric does have a bit more of a 70s feel - so perhaps it was custom printed for Tommy, as you say.
I don’t know how much help it is but I recognised the the four pointed star as the design used on various the 1951 Festival of Britain posters at the time, and with flags to the side (upside down Brittania’s ‘head’, and in a different colour way, but certainly that’s what it is based on I...
