    I pulled this up from newspaper.com which is a paid subscription. I didn’t see anything through a regular search either. That’s why you can’t reproduce it as it’s copyrighted

But to answer your question, I think it’s totally possible that they had some leftover labels that were used into the following year. Also as far as I know, Orlon was invented in the 1940s and trademarked in 1948...
