The faded tag isn’t a brand tag. It’s the ILGWU Union tag used between 1974-1995
You can read more about it here in our label resource

They look so similar yet different in some ways to Ottoman vests. The outer fabric and the trim somehow look wrong to me. I am by no means an expert but I am originally from a country that was under the Ottoman Empire’s control and oppression for 500 years so much of the history and imagery is...
It’s most likely an WPL number which were the numbers prior to RNs. 12079 comes up with Montog Inc though out of California so perhaps a different number
I see your label in the label resource. It’s the last one dated 1970s. That said, the care label on yours looks newer to me. At least in the US, you weren’t allowed to use care symbols without also using words prior to the 90s
Zamasport was the licensed manufacturer for Gucci between 1993. and 2000.
Then in 2000, according to WWD, Gucci announced the acquisition of a women’s wear factory from Italy’s Zamasport Group, purchasing the division of Zamasport that had produced and distributed Gucci’s women’s RTW collection...
I see references to the Saks Fifth Avenue Folio Collection as early as 1978 so this trademark might be for a later version. That said your dress looks 90s to me

If it were me and I was planning to sell it, I wouldn’t “safely conclude” that, since you don’t know for sure and I would at most state that it could be one in the listing description.
This particular ad was from The Baker Co but they were sold at various stores. Like Maggie said Beau Brummell was the manufacturer who would have sold them to various retailers
The RN search is here
https://rn.ftc.gov/Account/BasicSearch
but that won’t help you date directly. There is a formula you can use loosely to establish the earliest it could be from but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t done decades later as RN numbers can be used for many many years
This is the...
I also found a comment on some fashion blog that read:
“Hello, here is a page on Jane Lend's work, if you are interested since you have chosen a dress to illustrate -Dresses in Rome on April 10, 1964-. Have a nice day. Muriel Lendower”
Sadly it’s very old and there is no link but being signed by...
Based on this listing in a 1956 business directory, I suspect the name of the person behind the brand is Joseph Lendower manufacturing dresses and sets for women. The business was located at 53, Rue du Faubourg - Poissonnière, Paris and transferred in May 1956 to 12, rue Tronchet as far as I can...
